This year we are trying to stick to a stricter budget for Christmas. It’s our first on just one salary and we are about to start a big house renovation which means that we need to keep a closer eye on what we’re spending.
So far Cyber Week has been my saving grace. There have been lots of good sales at brands which I’d usually deem too expensive to buy from. I’ve sifted through some of the best ones to give some inspiration for your own gift lists.
Boden: 30% off everything with code N131
Boden are famous for their prints and good quality material. There are some really lovely gift ideas on here and with 30% off they are much for affordable than usual.
These leopard print Trainers are a good gift for someone who has everything. A flash of leopard print means they go with everything and the recipient is bound to get lots of wear out of them. With almost £30 off they are a really good reduction.
I always find men really hard to buy for, my Dad and brother are useless at giving any guidance when asked what they need. Cashmere is always a great thing to buy in the sale as you know it will last. These cashmere gloves are a great buy with £15 off.
Boden kids wear is absolutely beautiful and this dress with a little bit of sparkle is a great gift for the little diva in your life. Especially with £12 off.
The White Company: 20% off with WHITE20
The White Company are a great shop for gifts but usually on the expensive side. This is a really good chance to grab something classic at a reduced price.
I use the Highland Escape in my living room all year round. It’s a mix of whisky, burning log fire and spices. A friend of mine describes it as ‘smelling like a sexy man has just left the room’. A great gift that can be used all year round but is particularly lovely on those cold winter nights when you just want to be cosy.
These suede slippers are another good idea for men. My husband is always complaining about having cold feet and these are warm and comfy without looking too much like Grandad slippers.
These little sets in a tin are really handy if you’re out and about with a toddler, they make a really good stocking filler and are easy to pop in a bag and take out to entertain them on journeys or at meal times.
Topshop: Up to 50% off everything
This super soft jumper is a bargain at £19 reduced from £39. A lovely colour and snuggly material to keep you warm as it gets colder outside.
These satin pyjamas are a lovely gift especially when reduced to £17.30.
This Farah shirt is a lovely colour for the winter. Farah are a great brand with a vintage feel and slim fit, at £20 off this is a really good price.
Farah jumpers are also reduced with almost £25 off this one.
Hema: 20% off different items each day.
Hema is a little bit like Tiger, lots of unusual things at a really good price point. I bought lots of Ted’s stocking fillers from here as they have some gorgeous wooden toys. Keep your eyes on the site for different reductions each day.
We’ve bought Ted a toy kitchen as his Christmas present. These £5 little boxes of wooden groceries are perfect to go in his stocking.
Hema have lots of different packs of wooden figures for £5. Really useful to keep in the changing bag for on the go entertainment.
If you’re dreaming of a bright Christmas this pom pom star will look perfect in your Christmas display.
ASOS 20% off everything with code HELLO20
Asos sales are great for buying branded items at a good price. If you’ve had your eye on a pair of trainers, branded handbag or luxe beauty gift it’s always worth seeing if you can find them on ASOS during sale time.
Mac make up is on most Christmas wish lists and these looks in a box are a great little gift kit. Already reduced you receive an extra 20% off at checkout bringing the price down to just over £30.
Perfect skin is something on my list this year, this Clinique gift set is a good price with the 20% off at £23.
If you’re looking to really treat someone these classic Adidas Stan Smith’s are £60 with the 20% off.
I know a few men who would love to find this in their stocking on Christmas Day. Retro Sega Megadrive for just £38 with the 20% discount.
There are lots of other sales around this week with Office offering 20% off shoes and Zara possibly offering 20% off selected lines on Friday. I hope you manage to get a few bargains to add to (or start!) your Christmas shopping. Let me know your best bargains so far!
